James Whittaker

General Manager

James joined NHC NZ in March 2009 and leads the New Zealand team after a successful 11 years with British Airways in London.

He was most recently Worldwide Fleet Manager with responsibility for human resource management, performance improvement and customer service delivery across the worldwide fleet network. In this capacity he had accountability for 3,000 supervisory cabin crew, where the core of his work involved an intense and ongoing commitment to the delivery of outstanding customer service and excellence in service provision.

James is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Chief Audiologist

Mike, a past president of the New Zealand Audiological Society, leads our audiological team with over 15 years audiological experience in New Zealand. Mike has worked both in a hospital environment and private practice establishing his own clinic in 1998. Since then Mike has been involved in the opening and running of clinics in Palmerston North & Wellington. Mike joined National Hearing Care New Zealand in 2008.

Elise McGale

Customer Service Manager

Elise joined National Hearing Care in April 2009 following a successful career with Johnson & Johnson in their optics division both in the UK and Ireland. During her secondment in Ireland, Elise had overall sales responsibilities as well as strategic planning, budgeting, marketing and training.
